Recently, social media platforms, especially X/Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram, have been buzzing a viral deepfake video of Azma Bukhari, leaving netizens go wild.
After the viral video allegedly featuring the 48-year-old politician surfaced, she came forward and addressed the viral controversial clip.

In her statement, Azma Bukhari, who is serving as the Information Minister for Punjab, Pakistan, can be heard saying, “I was devastated when I found out.”
The lawyer, who is practicing in the Lahore High Court, expressed that she was paralyzed when she saw her face superimposed onto the body of an Indian actor in an explicit video that quickly spread on social media.
In her words, she said, “It was incredibly difficult. I was depressed. But my daughter hugged me and said, ‘Mama, you have to fight back.’”
As per Pakistani media, Bukhari is currently pursuing legal action in Lahore’s High Court, determined to hold those responsible accountable.

Who is Azma Bukhari?
Born in Faisalabad on August 18, 1976, Bukhari, whose full name is Azma Zahid Bukhari, is a Pakistani politician. As aforesaid, she is currently serving as a Provisional Minister for Information, Punjab.
His father, Syed Zahid Hussain Bukhari was a former Justice of Lahore High Court. She secured her early education from Sheikhupura.
Later, he enrolled in the Punjab University and secured a degree in B.A. In 2001, she went to Pakistan College of Law and got a degree in law. Later, beyond her political career, she began practicing as a lawyer.
Career
In Pakistan general election, the politician has been elected to the member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab a candidate of Pakistan People Party on a seat that is reserved for women since 2002.
Later, she was re-elected as a Pakistan People Party in 2008 general election as the Provincial Assembly of Punjab.
In February 2013, she joined hands with Pakistan Muslim League. In 2018 general election, she was re-elected to the assembly as a member of Pakistan Muslim League.
