Who is Vineeta Singh?
Singh was born in Anand, Gujarat, in 1983. Her mother holds a PhD, and her father, Tej Singh, works as a biophysicist at the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences. Singh completed her education at Delhi Public School, RK Puram, in 2001, then enrolled at the Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) the same year. She completed her electrical engineering studies at IIT-M and earned her bachelor’s degree in 2005.
Afterward, she pursued an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, graduating in 2007. While studying for her MBA in 2006, she interned at Deutsche Bank. Singh turned down a job offer of Rs 1 crore per year to pursue her own lingerie business with another graduate who also declined the offer.
