Mark Stokes Brief Bio
Mark Stokes was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1978. He graduated from the University of Melbourne with a combined degree in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in 2003. He majored in three subjects, namely English, Philosophy, and Psychology.
After his graduation from the University of Melbourne, Mark enrolled at Cambridge University in 2004 in order to pursue his doctoral studies. He joined the University’s Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit alongside John Duncan and Rhodri Cusack.
Research And Works
While working at Cambridge, Mark carried out extensive research on human brain function. Following his research, he published his thesis titled “The Role of Neurocognitive Processes in Human Decision Making” in 2008.
Mark received a Junior Research Fellowship at St. John’s College, Oxford in 2007. There he further continued his research into cognitive neuroscience. He focused on studying how people made decisions under different conditions.
While at Oxford, Mark also published many highly influential scientific papers. His papers focused on topics like:
