Many social media users have accused Central Cee of being a lifelong QPR supporter after he was featured in Chelsea’s kit launch
Chelsea’s 2025–26 home kit which combines heritage and contemporary style has been formally unveiled.
Is rapper Central Cee a lifelong Chelsea football club supporter and why does he have a QPR tattoo

The club’s longstanding ties to London’s thriving culture are celebrated in the premiere video, which stars Madness frontman Suggs and British rapper Central Cee. Chelsea’s signature blue is used in the new uniform, along with red and white accents and a textured clash print that draws inspiration from London’s architectural design. The design is complemented by a specifically modified crest that represents the club’s history.
However, many Chelsea fans have not taken kindly to Central Cee featuring in the video by the club owing to the QPR tattoo he has which has lead many to believe he isn’t a Chelsea fan as claimed by him. Along with manifold pictures of him in Arsenal and Liverpool kits going viral as well, Chelsea fans have been left livid over why the club decided to feature the rapper.
However, contrary to social media claims, the rapper is indeed a lifelong Chelsea fan. His QPR tattoo is only a memorial for his friend Fernando Johnson (fdot) who passed away. Fdot played for the QPR academy when he was young and Central Cee got the tattoo as a tribute for him.
The rapper was born in Ladbroke Grove but moved to live in Shepherd’s Bush after his parents separated at the age of seven.
Despite growing up in Shepherd’s Bush and giving QPR pride of place in one of his music video, the rapper is known to be a Chelsea fan. He is regularly seen at Stamford Bridge and featured on the club’s TikTok account as well while holding a shirt with the name ‘Cench’, which was handed to him by Blues full-back Ben Chilwell as he watched a victory over Sheffield United.
As the season draws to a close, it’s time for clubs to start releasing their new uniforms for the next campaign. Arsenal made their announcement Thursday morning.

Chelsea’s 2025–26 home kit features a shirt with textured clash print with our classic blue paired with a brighter shade – embodying the youthful spirit that has shaped west London. More Chelsea historical colours are added by white and red trims, and the jersey is finished with a specially modified crest that complements the colour scheme and design inspiration.
It is appropriate that, in our 120th year, Chelsea Football Club’s home uniform features such a striking portrayal of London, a city that is synonymous with creativity, invention, and a constantly changing cultural scene.
Our House, sung by renowned Chelsea supporter Suggs, provides the soundtrack for the premiere video, which also focuses on the physical elements of the UK city. The Madness chart song from the 1980s opens our 2025–26 uniform by touring the center of west London, and he stars here once more.
At the end of the video, Central Cee makes a comeback alongside Ife Ogunjobi, who is a member of the jazz group Ezra Collective, which has won both the Brit Award and the Mercury Prize.
