33-year-old Neeraj Goyat was born in the Karnal, Haryana, village of Begumpur on 11 November 1991. He is 5ft 7in tall. Goyat was born to Joginder Singh and Kamla Devi. Neeraj Goyat attended the SD Model School in Haryana for his education up till the ninth grade.

Neeraj Goyat is an Indian boxer and mixed martial artist. He is the first boxer from India to reach the WBC world rankings. In 2017, Goyat was named the WBC Asia ‘Honorary Boxer of the Year’. As a former world champion of the Regular World Boxing Association, he became the first person to defeat Chinese boxer Xu Can in China in 2014.
The first Indian professional boxer to qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Venezuela was Neeraj Goyat, who took home a bronze. In 2017, he was named the WBC Asia “Honorary Boxer of the Year.”
Goyat made an appearance on Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 in June 2024. But after only five days, he was removed from the show. He defeated Whindersson Nunes on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul on November 15, 2024.
With his explosiveness, Goyat overpowered Nunes in the opening round, which was a one-way traffic. In order to establish his authority, he connected with a counter left hook and slipped in blows with ease.
Goyat continued to overpower Nunes in the second round by landing a series of punches on Nunes’s head. Goyat appeared to run out of gas and left his mount open as a result of his aggression. In an attempt to get over his fatigue, he forced Nunes back against the ropes before launching into a fury to finish the second round.
