Mohammed Kudus started playing football in 2010 by joining Strong Tower FC in Nima at the age of ten. Before getting accepted into the Right to Dream Academy in 2012 at the age of twelve, he played there for two years. Kudus signed a free transfer to the Danish team Nordsjaelland on August 2, 2018. Having turned eighteen, he made his club debut in a loss to Brøndby IF, being the ninth youngest player in Nordsjælland’s history.
Later, Kudus signed a five-year contract with Ajax on July 16, 2020, for a transfer fee of $9.6 million, or €9 million. On September 20, 2020, he made his league debut against RKC Waalwijk. Due to complications from his injuries, Kudus missed multiple games throughout his rookie campaign. He did, however, bounce back to assist his team in winning the Dutch Cup, the Eredivisie, and the domestic double. National team
Mohammed Kudus, a member of the Ghana national team, has four caps and one goal for the Ghana under-17 squad. He also made five appearances and scored one goal for Ghana’s under-20 team. On November 14, 2019, he made his debut with the national team, coaching Kwesi Appiah. When Kudus made his Ghana Black Stars debut, he was nineteen years old.
He has been an essential member of the Ghana national squad since 2019.
