Welch gave us a much-awaited update earlier this week regarding her life since the video of her street chat with YouTubers Tim and Dee TV went viral on social media.
She disclosed the reaction of her parents to her being called the Hawk Tuah girl, explained her meaning behind the humorous terminology she used, and talked about how she was being bombarded with ‘disgusting’ remarks from people on the internet. She talked about the benefits and drawbacks of becoming famous in a video that she posted to her Instagram account.
She mentioned three amazing things that have changed her life.
“Number one, I got over my stage fright with Zach Bryan the other night – and I cannot sing for sh*t. But I did it anyway!”
Second, Welch disclosed that she had resigned from her position at a spring factory in Belfast, Tennessee, her hometown.
Her third favourite aspect of becoming well-known is that it gives her an excuse to “get ready more than one time out of the week.”
