For the unfamiliar, Gabriel Stefan Kapler, born on July 31, 1975, and widely known as “Kap,” is the assistant general manager for the Miami Marlins in Major League Baseball (MLB).
Standing at 1.88 m, Kapler is also a former professional baseball outfielder and MLB manager. Kapler was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 57th round (1,487th overall) of the 1995 MLB draft.
In the minor leagues, he became an All-Star in 1996, 1997, and 1998, and was honored as Minor League Player of the Year by national publications in 1998.
