Erling Halaand’s latest injury update today, status and return date as he joins the list of Manchester City injured players and is Haaland still injured
Erling Haaland was forced to leave the game after halftime on October 25 after suffering a fever and a knock to his foot against his former club Borussia Dortmund. Haaland was also left out of City’s win over Leicester City on Wednesday due to his injury. Pep Guardiola and the team will now face Sevilla in Group G of the Champions League, with City needing only a victory or a draw to finish top. They have, however, already qualified for the UCL knockout stages.

Haaland was forced to leave the field during Man City’s UCL clash against Borussia Dortmund on October 25 due to a fever and sustaining a knock to his foot. Before going against Sevilla on Wednesday Pep Guardiola addressed Haaland’s availability for the game and said;
”Erling will be unavailable tomorrow “. “He feels better than he did on Saturday and Sunday, but not completely.” We don’t want to take a chance since it makes no sense. Hopefully, he will return for Fulham.”
Aside from Haaland, City will be missing Kalvin Phillips, Kyle Walker, and Cole Palmer due to injury, and there is no word on when these players will be back on the squad list.
Since joining the Premier League, Erling Haaland has turned out to be a great signing by Pep Guardiola as expected. The Norwegian star has needed record 22 goals in his first 15 appearances for City. In the absence of Haaland, it makes sense for Julian Alvarez to start against Sevilla after he led the line for Manchester City in their victory over Leicester on Saturday. Julian Alvarez is eligible to start once more against Sevilla. Guardiola will have no qualms about giving Alvarez extra playing time against La Liga team Sevilla because the South American has scored four goals in only five starts.
Man City will play Fulham at Etihad Stadium on Saturday, November 5, and we hope Erling Haaland recovers rapidly and is fit by then.
