Some admirers did not believe the news when the R.I.P. Cristiano Ronaldo page’s message regarding the star’s unexpected death went viral. This is also a result of the spreading tendency of fictitious viral death stories on social media.
Some said that no important Portuguese network had reported the story, hinting that it was a fraud given that the passing of a player with Cristiano Ronaldo’s stature would be big news for all networks.
In fact, he adds his name to the long list of famous people who have fallen victim to this scam. We will advise you to stop trusting what you read online; he is still alive and well. IShowSpeed reacts to the fake death hoax
The purported death of Ronaldo also startled YouTuber IShowSpeed, who claimed that the phoney news “freaked him out” and caused him to cry. He requested his broadcasters to clarify whether the rumours regarding the football great were genuine or fake last week during a live stream.
It has happened before that reports of Ronaldo’s false death have spread widely. In April 2023, there was a hoax report that the five-time FIFA Player of the Year had sadly perished in a car crash, with images of the wrecked car going viral.
Ronaldo is one of several famous people who became involved in the widely spread death hoax. Jose Luis Perales, a Spanish singer, dispelled rumours of his fake demise in August 2023 by asserting that he was more alive than ever.
