This was no malicious death hoax that began with the intention of misleading the football fans, but an unfortunate case of few confusions. Just this month, we’ve seen billionaire George Soros and Eminem being subjected to such rumors, although they both are alive as of today.
Who was Ravens fan Chuck?
The tweet which has sparked the original death hoax was regarding a late Baltimore Ravens fan. A cartoon image illustrated is taken from the fan’s social media, marking a tribute to him and not Chuck Clark Jr.
Ravens fan, Chuck was well-known amongst all supporters. Chuck was involved in the Discord debates and he built up massive social media following. Being a part of Ravens Flock, Chuck gained 12,000 followers on Twitter and 15,000 on his Instagram.
On Saturday, 20th of May, Chuck posted on his Twitter account, a concerning message. “Sorry gang. I really hope that the Baltimore Ravens do well but this will be the last tweet of mine,” Chuck wrote. “Thanks for the debates and laughs which we had.”
Chuck uploaded a string of Instagram stories with concerning posts written on his life.
Ravens say RIP to Chuck
