Is Andrew Tate Back In Twitter, His Account And Ban Reason

Andrew Tate seems to have gotten his Twitter account back, know if he is back in the platform or not

Yesterday was the first time in five years that the account of the controversial influencer tweeted.

The news that he could use Twitter again came soon after Elon Musk, the new owner and CEO of Twitter, wrote a post about the site’s new “freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach” policy.

Is Andrew Tate Back In Twitter As Elon Musk Unbans Scores Of Accounts

Musk said in his first tweet that he had restored the accounts of several well-known people, such as comedian Kathy Griffin, media personality Jordan Peterson, and the conservative satire website The Babylon Bee. The CEO of Tesla also said that a decision on whether to unban former U.S. President Donald Trump has not been made yet.

Musk never said Tate’s name, but it looks like he was on the list of high-profile people who were brought back. No one knows why he wasn’t on the list with the other people. Even so, Andrew Tate is back on Twitter after being banned for more than five years.

When Andrew Tate Was Banned From Twitter

After having a successful kickboxing career, the American-British internet personality took part in the 2016 season of the reality show Big Brother. As Tate became known to more people, his racist and other controversial tweets on his Twitter account drew more attention to him. Because of this, many people asked for him to be taken off the show.

Tate was kicked off Big Brother’s seventeenth season after only six days, but it wasn’t because of his controversial tweets. When a video of him hitting a woman with a belt went viral on social media. He was quickly taken off the show. Both Tate and the woman in the video have said that the act was done with their permission.

His Views On #MeToo Got Him Banned On Twitter

Andrew Tate wasn’t banned from Twitter until 2017. This was because of his very controversial views on the #MeToo movement and what counts as sexual harassment or assault.

While everyone was talking about Harvey Weinstein and the many sexual assault claims against him. Tate sent out a series of controversial tweets, one of which said:

Andrew Tate made a second account on the social media site. This account was still active enough for the site to verify it in 2021. But it was this verification that showed Twitter that Tate was trying to get around the ban. He was again banned from the platform for good, and Twitter said in a statement that the second account had been verified by mistake.

Andrew Tata Did Not Stop After The Ban

Even though Andrew Tate was banned from Twitter, his videos from YouTube and other social media sites like Tiktok, Facebook, and Instagram were still being shared on the site. In terms of Google searches, he was most popular in July 2022, when he was searched for more than Donald Trump, Kim Kardashian, and even COVID-19.

Because so many people heard about him, his ideas were closely looked at. Tate was banned from almost all of the biggest social media sites. Like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, after people asked for him to be taken off of them.

On November 18, Twitter, the first site to ban Tate, let him back in. This happened after Elon Musk said that negative tweets wouldn’t get people banned but would instead be “deboosted and demonetized.” This decision is what made Andrew Tate come back. The controversial person’s return to Twitter is the talk of the town, and it’s also another decision by Twitter that has caused a lot of disagreement.
