In a five-day match at Gwalior, Madhya Pradeshโwhich won the Ranji Trophy in 2021โ2022โwill face a formidable Rest of India squad. When Indore decided to host the third Test between India and Australia instead of Dharamsala, the game had to be moved from its original location at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.
The Rest of India side, Mayank Agarwal, who is not currently a part of India’s Test establishment, makes a commanding appearance for the Rest of India squad.

Mayank Agarwal, who is currently not part of India’s Test setup, leads the Rest of India squad. Meanwhile, Abhimanyu Easwaran, who was with the Indian side during their Bangladesh series, has also been selected. An injury to Sarfaraz Khan’s finger has unfortunately prevented him from playing domestic cricket.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Yash Dhull, both young players, have also been chosen for the Irani Cup in 2023.
Akash Deep, Chetan Sakariya, Mayank Markande, Mukesh Kumar, Navdeep Saini, and Saurabh Kumar make up the bowling unit. However, Jalaj Saxena and Shams Mulani, who took 50 and 46 wickets in the most recent Ranji Tournament, respectively, have no place.
In the absence of the usual skipper, Aditya Shrivastava, Himanshu Mantri will lead Madhya Pradesh. Together with Avesh Khan, the team also includes Rajat Patidar and Venkatesh Iyer.
