As per the 2021 IPL Mid Season Transfer Window, all teams can transfer players (Indian or overseas) from their squad on loan to other teams. In a bid to strengthen the squad, teams look to rope in players through the transfer window. With the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, it has also proved to be a great respite to the franchise.

Eligibility

Only those players who haven’t played more than three games will be eligible to part of the mid-season transfer window.

Dates

IPL 2021 Mid-season transfer window will be Open between 26th April 2021 and 23rd May 2021.

Duration

A player who has been open to transfer to some other franchise will remain with that franchise till the completion of the season. Also, the players aren’t allow to play games against their home teams during that period.

Remuneration

The players who will be sent on loan will be paid complete remuneration by the home franchise. The team, which has taken him on loan, will pay him fees for the matches he will be part of.
