Fastest fifty in the IPL

Yashasvi Jaiswal, a batsman for the Rajasthan Royals, struck fifty runs off just 13 balls against the Kolkata Knight Riders. In the history of the IPL, this is the fastest half-century.

Uncapped player’s highest score in an IPL playoff game

The record for the highest score by an uncapped player in an IPL playoff game still belongs to Rajat Patidar (112*). Last year, the RCB batter defeated LSG and scored 100 runs. However, Sai Sudharsan of Gujarat Titans, who hit 96 runs off of 47 balls against Chennai Super Kings in the championship, has taken over second place.

At the age of 21 years and 226 days, Sudharsan also became the second-youngest player to register an IPL playoff fifty. Wriddhiman Saha, who played for GT versus CSK in the IPL 2023 Final and was 38 years, 217 days old, was the oldest player to register a fifty in the IPL Final.

Shubman Gill of the GT scored 30 runs or more on 13 different occasions this season, the most by a player in an IPL season. He surpassed Kane Williamson (12) and Virat Kohli (12) in the IPL 2018 and IPL 2016, respectively.

Most centuries in a season of the IPL

Additionally, 12 centuries were scored in the IPL 2023, which is at least four more than any other IPL season. Virat Kohli of the RCB scored two centuries, while GT batsman Shubman Gill hit three hundred.

The most sixes ever hit in an IPL season were 1124, which is a record for the Indian Premier League.

The first participant to make 250 IPL appearances

MS Dhoni, the captain of CSK, became the first athlete to make 250 IPL appearances. During his IPL career, the 41-year-old has played for both Rising Pune Supergiant and Chennai Super Kings. IPL 2023 also saw 8 successful chases of scores 200 or more, which is at least 5 more than any other seasons.

Ambati Rayudu of CSK and Rohit Sharma of the Mumbai Indians are tied for the most victories in IPL Finals. They both have six victories to their credit. MS Dhoni, Kieron Pollard, and Hardik Pandya have each won five IPL finals.

The highest 50+ run scores ever recorded in a single event were 183 in the IPL 2023. The previous record, set in the IPL 2021 season, was 172.
