IPL Trading window shut down on 16th November
The franchises are allowed to swap players by mutual decision in the time period. Only KKR, Gujrat Titans, and Delhi Capitals have decided to trade their players in the Window.
KKR has taken full use of the trading window as they have swapped 3 players to fulfill the gap of Billings, Cummins, and Hales. The 3 key players of KKR have taken their name out of IPL 2023 considering the national duty.
Ferguson, Shardul, and Gurbaz to play for KKR in IPL 2023
Defending Champions Gujrat Titans have traded Lockie Ferguson and Rehmanullah Gurbaz to KKR ahead of IPL 2023. KKR is looking to solidify its bowling lineup for the upcoming season.

Each team will have an additional 5 crore INR in their purse for the upcoming auction. Teams who saved some money in their purses in the previous auction will have a huge advantage in the upcoming auction.
Here is the amount of value left in the team’s purses after releasing some of their players.
- Sunrisers Hyderabad (42.25 cr)
The Orange army is looking for a real change in their team as they have released some of their most expensive players. They have the highest purse value among all the teams and will go bonkers in the IPL 2023 auction.
2. Punjab Kings (32.20 cr)
Punjab Kings have also released their captain ahead of the Auction. In the IPL 2023 Auction in December PBKS will sit with 32.20 cr INR in their purse.
3. Lucknow Super Giants (23.25 cr)
Lucknow has the 3rd highest purse value left ahead of the Auction. They also have 4 slots left for the foreign players in their squad.
4. Mumbai Indians (20.55 cr)
The 5-time champions would like to buy some fresh players in the auction. MI has to fill the void of experience Kieron Pollard in the auction.
5. Chennai Super kings (20.45 cr)
The MS Dhoni-led CSK will also have to sign some young talented players as most of their players are close to retirement.
6. Delhi Capitals (19.45 cr)
The Delhi Capitals have 19.45 cr INR to strengthen their team ahead of the IPL 2023.
7. Gujrat Titans (19.25cr)
The defending champions don’t have much to spend in the auction. Their team balance is almost sorted but they still need some firepower in their batting.
8. Rajasthan Royals (13.20 cr)
The Royals need to buy some quality foreign players in the auction going to take place in Kochi. They only have 13.20 cr left in their purse.
9. Royal Challengers Bangalore (8.75 cr)
RCB has retained all its big guns ahead of the IPL 2023. They only have 8.75 crores for shopping in the auction.
10. Kolkata Knight Riders (6 cr)
KKR has the least amount of value left in its purse.
