Umpiring Panel
In IPL 2022 umpires have been divided into two panels. The panels have been named as Elite panel and the Developing Umpires panel. 9 umpires have been selected as Elite panel Umpires. 6 are developing umpires.

Elite Panel Umpires
Elite Umpires are the umpires who have experience in umpiring In international games. The umpires of this panel will get 1,98,00 INR salary which is three-time more than developing umpires.
Developing Umpires Panel
There are 6 umpires In the developing umpires category who are all domestic umpires. The developing umpires will get 59,000INR Per match and valuable match experience.
Foreign Umpires
In this year’s Ipl 3 foreign umpires have been selected. The experienced Paul Riffel, Chris Gaffney, and Richard Ellingworth. All three of them are in the Elite panel of umpires.
Indian Umpires
There are 12 Indian umpires in the ongoing IPL 2022. 6 of them are part of the Elite Panel of Umpires. It includes some of the most famous names in world cricket like Anil Chaudhary and S.Ravi.
Salaries of Umpires in IPL 2022
The IPL is a cash-rich league where players along with umpires get hefty salaries. The salary of an elite umpire is 1,98,000 INR per match plus an add-on bonus. Developing umpires of Bcci are also getting 58,000 INR salary per match.
