IPL 2022 Mega Auction: Players Who Might be Retained By RCB

Royal Bangalore Challengers (RCB) always has a couple of famous figures in the IPL team, know the names the side could retain the IPL 2022 Mega auction

In several of their IPL seasons, RCB’s inclination to rely primarily on few players often has tormented them. This is one of the main reasons why ‘Men in red’ failed during the  past fourteen editions.

IPL 2021 season was remarkable for RCB, though, because the team of Virat  Kohli proceeded their season with four consecutive wins before the epidemic ended the show.

The “Men in Red ” had a whole effort to increase their performance in adverse conditions by a few of their relatively lower recognised members. Let’s find out the players who will continue their game for RCB post IPL 2021.

Players Who Possibly Can Be Retained By RCB In IPL Mega Auction 2022

Virat Kohli

In the entire history of IPL, Virat Kohli is the only player to associate with just one franchise throughout his career. He is likely to continue, because RCB would probably preserve their captain  in IPL 2022.

Virat Kohli by far is the leading run scorer for  RCB and has played steadily throughout the years. Kohli didn’t have ample effect with the bat in IPL 2021, but he was excellent in terms of captaincy.

One of the major reasons for RCB to cherish into the top-4 on the points table was due to his leadership skills.

AB De Villiers

AB de Villiers withdrew from the international arena, although Mr.360 has always  stepped up for RCB every year with his explosive batting. An impressive start in the IPL 2021, De Villiers has played some remarkable match winning knocks for the team.

Over the years, De Villiers has played some terrific  cricket for RCB in the IPL. De Villiers is still going strong at 37 and is one of the finest T20 finishers in the world. Most analysts have struggled to comprehend the South African player’s technique and shot-making with some of his spectacular smashes.

AB De Villiers will almost certainly become the next player retained by RCB for the IPL 2022 season.

Devdutt Paddikal

Devdutt Padikkal, a rising prodigy and a local lad, has been a great boost to Royal Challengers Bangalore. He did not dishearten the RCB management, ending the season as the team’s leading run-scorer with 473 runs.

He maintained his good fortune in the IPL 2021, with a stunning century against the Rajasthan Royals. In the IPL 2021, he  has struck 195 runs in six innings with a strike rate of 152, putting an end to his detractors’ complaints about his inability to accelerate his game.

It might surprise everyone but DDP  is likely  to enter the retention list of  RCB prior to the mega auction.

At the price of the monstrous 15 crores before IPL 2021, RCB purchased Kyle Jamieson, the pacer from New Zealand. The big expenditure on the Kiwi rhythmic  Allrounder was a wise move for the RCB team management. Jamieson, a lanky bowler, performed a terrific job with the ball in hand in IPL 2021.

Jamieson appeared in all seven matches for the Bangalore franchise. Kyle had a strike rate of 16.00 and was able to pick up 9 important wickets for the club. In addition, he was RCB’s second-highest wicket-taker in the 14th season of the Indian Premier League.
