2023 Interwetten International Darts Open schedule, venue, draw, format, & playing line-up
Sixteen games spread across two sessions will make up Friday’s first round, including a match between World Championship semifinalist Gabriel Clemens and World Cup victor Simon Whitlock. In another tantalizing matchup, newly crowned UK Open champion Andrew Gilding squares up against two-time TV champion Daryl Gurney, while Richie Burnett makes his return to the European Tour against Liam Maendl-Lawrance of Germany.
On Friday night, Callan Rydz and Mike De Decker square off for a spot in round two, while Ross Smith’s opening matchup is against Paavo Myller. Raymond van Barneveld, a five-time World Champion, will also compete in Riesa after being called up from the reserve list. The Dutch veteran will face Stephen Burton in the opening round. In the second round on Saturday, the sixteen seeded players enter the competition as Price looks to build on his excellent run by winning back-to-back European Tour championships.
