2022 International Darts Open Schedule, Dates, Time, Players, Results, Draw, Prize Money Pool
On the 2022 PDC Pro Tour, the International Darts Open is the first of thirteen PDC European Tour tournaments. From February 25 to 27, 2022, the event will be held in the SACHSENarena in Riesa, Germany.
The tournament will feature a total of 48 players and a prize pool of £140,000, with the winner receiving £25,000. Joe Cullen is the reigning champion and top seed in the International Darts Open.
Tournament Qualifiers and Format
On June 28, 2021, the top 16 entrants from the PDC ProTour Order of Merit qualified for the event. These 16 players were seeded in the second round. Players from six qualifying events competed for the remaining 32 spots.
All stages before the semi-finals will be a best of 11 legs match but the semi-finals will be a best of 13 legs match. The finals will feature a best of 15 legs match.
