International Army Games 2021: India To Send Massive Representation
This is the seventh edition of the International Army game aka War Olympics. The Indian Army contingent was selected as the best of the various weapons after a three-step review.
Participating in this annual game reflects the level of expertise of the Indian Army in the armed forces of the world. The competition promotes cooperation between groups based on the best practices of participating countries. Previously, India ranked first among the eight countries that participated in the 2019 Army Scout Masters Tournament in Jaisalmer.
International Army Games 2021 Participants, Venues And Schedule
Russia’s Defence Minister Sergey Shoygu has announced the date of the Olympic Games. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh quoted the UNI report as saying, “From August 22nd to September 4th, more than 280 teams from 42 countries show their fighting skills and determination to win.
This year’s tournament will be held in 11 countries. The venue for the War Olympics are – Patriot Expo (Moscow Region), Kubinka Air Base, Alabino Military Training Grounds.
The Indian delegation will be participating in ASMC (Army Scout Masters Competition), Elbrus Ring, Polar Star, Sniper Frontier and Safe Route games, with various training on elevated terrain, eye operations, sniper operations, and obstacle terrain. You can enjoy the combat engineering technology of various competitions.
International Olympics Games Live Stream And Telecast
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) announced that 101 Indian Army soldiers will be partaking at the International Army Games starting August 22nd. The Russian Ministry of Defence has been hosting the tournament since 2015. The games can be watched live on the Ruptly YouTube channel.
