On Sunday, March 3, the Indian Veteran Premier League 2024 final took place at the Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground, where Mumbai Champions clashed with VVIP Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh won the toss and chose to bowl first. Mumbai scored 214 runs, losing five wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Phil Mustard and Peter Trego both notched half-centuries for Mumbai. Mustard scored with 76 runs off 45 deliveries, while Trego remained unbeaten on 57 runs off 33 balls.
During their batting innings, Uttar Pradesh faced a setback, losing their initial three wickets within the Powerplay overs. However, Negi and Parvinder Singh steadied the innings, putting up 113 runs for the fourth wicket. Ultimately, VVIP Uttar Pradesh emerged victorious by six wickets and clinched the 2024 Indian Veteran Premier League title.

Chris Mpofu excelled as the leading wicket-taker, claiming 15 wickets in seven matches with an average of 16.47, surpassing other bowlers by a significant margin. Amit Sanan secured second place with nine wickets in seven games at an average of 21.11.
