After the NFL in America, the Indian Premier League is the second-richest domestic league globally. The intense competitiveness among the franchises and thrilling matches are what draw elite international cricket players to this T20 league.
The competition, which will include ten teams, will take place in 2024 from March 22 to May 26. They have 72 entertaining matches scheduled. The 17th season will begin with a matchup between the defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Meanwhile, every season, IPL fans eagerly anticipate seeing the sponsors and shirt designs of their preferred teams. To express their love and support for their teams and cricket, many people attend the stadium wearing team shirts.
Numerous teams are probably going to release new uniforms as the season draws closer. Over the years, we have witnessed teams wear distinctive recycled-material jerseys or wear jerseys in support of noteworthy charities. So far, only two teams have revealed their jersey for upcoming IPL edition.
More teams jersey will be added once the franchises announce, launch or unveil their kits from the Indian Premier League season 17, scheduled to start on March 22 and most teams will reveal their kits before March 15.
Chennai Super Kings
The reigning champions were the first to showcase their new look, sticking with the classic yellow and blue uniforms. The CSK 2024 jersey design is identical, with the addition of a fourth title star above the emblem and an Etihad Airways logo on the back.
Rajasthan Royals
With a video that featured leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, RR announced their new uniform. The trademark pink and blue are still used in the series, although the patterns on the torso have changed slightly. The colours have remained the same.
“Inspired by the indomitable warrior’s spirit,” the RR 2024 jersey honours the spirit, legacy, and lively culture of Rajasthan. The pattern is based on the bandhan design.
Punjab Kings
Although the Punjab Kings haven’t revealed their uniform yet, they have hinted at a potential new look on social media, probably sticking with red.
