It is known that the upcoming edition of IPL 2022 will be witnessing two new franchises in form of Lucknow and Ahmedabad teams. Apart from that stars like Ashish Nehra, Brian Lara and Dale Steyn will be seen in the role of coaches.

Ashish Nehra
Ashish Nehra, a former Indian pacer has been appointed as the head coach of the Ahmedabad franchise. Ahmedabad franchise will compete in IPL for the first time vying for the top honors. Ashish Nehra is renowned as the death-over specialist in T-20 during his hay days and he earlier worked as the head coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Vikram Solanki
Vikram Solanki is an Indian-origin English cricketer. Vikram Solanki, former England batsman is touted to become the Director of Cricket and Batting Coach for the Ahmedabad team.
Andy Flower
Andy Flower, former captain of Zimbabwe is extremely popular for his grace and style in batting. Andy Flower will be the head coach of the Lucknow team. Andy Flower earlier had been the assistant coach for Punjab Kings.
Brian Lara
Brian Lara, former West Indian legend is regarded as the best cricketer on par with cricket god Sachin Tendulkar. Brian Lara will be making his debut as the coach in any format of cricket. He will make his debut as the batting coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Dale Steyn
Dale Steyn, a South African pacer is hailed as the stun gun for his blistering pace. He will be making his debut as the coach for the first time. He will be seen as the bowling coach for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
