The Athletics Federation of India have kicked started the Indian Grand Prix athletics 2023 at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on March 20, find out how to watch live streaming, events, players to watch out and full schedule

This year, the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) will hold four Indian Grand Prix events in Thiruvananthapuram and Bengaluru.

Once the ongoing Grand Prix concludes, the Indian Grand Prix 2 will take place on March 27 in Thiruvananthapuram. Meanwhile, the third and fourth legs will take place on April 2 and April 10, in Bengaluru, Karnataka and respectively.

Indian Grand Prix 2023 athletics how to watch live streaming

Fans in India can watch the live streaming of the Indian Grand Prix 2023 athletics events on the Athletics Federation of Indiaโ€™s official YouTube channel. Sadly, there will be no live telecast of the Indian GP available on any TV channel in India.

Indian Grand Prix athletics 2023 events

The first Indian Grand Prix 2023 will feature 18 events, out of which 10 are menโ€™s and eight for women. The menโ€™s events consist of 100m, 200m, 800m, 5,000m, 400m hurdles, long jump, triple jump, high jump, shot put, and javelin throw.

Meanwhile, the womenโ€™s events consist of 100m, 200m, 800m, 5,000m, 400m hurdles, long jump, high jump, and shot put.

Indian Grand Prix athletics 2023 players to watch out

The Indian Grand Prix athletics 2023 will feature several stars like Indiaโ€™s star runner Hima Das and womenโ€™s shot put national record holder Manpreet Kaur. Hima Das will take part in the 200m race despite having rarely participated in big events due to recurring injuries. The Assamese runner, currently holds the national record in the womenโ€™s 400m sprint.

Meanwhile, Manpreet Kaur who is an Olympian and 2017 Asian Grand Prix gold medal-winning shot putter will be looking forward to a stellar performance in Kerala.

In the menโ€™s events, Olympian Muhammed Anas is a player to watch out and he will be participating in the 200m race. The athlete who hails from Kerala is currently the 400m national record holder. He has also competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics in the past. In the menโ€™s javelin throw, Karnataka athlete Manu DP is another athlete worth watching out.
