New Zealand, team India will play under a new coaching staff. Rahul Dravid and his support coaching staff which include Vikram Rathour (batting coach), and Paras Mahabrey (bowling coach) have all been given rest for the series. Hrishikesh Kantikar and Sairaj Bahutule will be the batting and bowling coach of Team India in the series.

Team India’s visit to New Zealand will begin with a three-match T20I series on November 18, 2022. Rahul Dravid and his supporting coaching team have all been given the series break. VVS Laxman will take over as Team India’s head coach in place of Rahul Dravid. He was on duty during India’s tour of Ireland, which was followed by a T20 match against England. With the Indian team playing two series in a row. Laxman also joined the team in Zimbabwe and against South Africa. Hardik Pandya will captain the team in the T20Is, while Shikhar Dhawan will lead the side in ODIs. Senior players including Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma have also been given rest for the tour.
After the New Zealand tour, Rahul Dravid and his coaching staff will return to their respective positions when India travels to Bangladesh in December.
