Following their resounding 4-0 victory against arch-rivals Pakistan at the 2023 Men’s Asian Champions Trophy, India finished the league phase as leaders with thirteen points from five games. Meanwhile, Japan sealed their semi-final berth thanks to their 2-1 win against China. According to the results of group stage, hosts India will face-off against fourth-placed Japan in the semi-final on Friday.
