The semi-final begins at 3:30 pm BSTor 8:00pm IST at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.
Weather Update
There is a high chance of rain affecting the game, with a 90% probability of rainfall and a 21% chance of thunderstorms, according to weather department.
The match, scheduled to start at 10 am local time, could be called off if the weather doesn’t permit play.

There is no reserve day for this semi-final due to the one-day gap between the semi-final and final with India going through to the final if the match is called off.
Buffer Time
Instead, the ICC has allotted a 250-minute buffer to start a full 20-over match. The game can start as late as 12:10 am IST for a full match, and up to 1:10 am IST for a 10-over per side match.
If play isn’t possible by then, India will advance to the final as the top team in Group 1 of the Super 8.

Earlier, in a press conference, Rohit Sharma expressed hope for a full game but stated they would adjust their strategy if rain shortened the match.
“We want to think it will be a full game, but if it rains, we will change what we need to. We will do our best to win the game. These things happen, and we will see what the scenarios are,” the Indian captain said.
