Almost 100 athletes from India are sweating day and night in the preparations of the Tokyo Olympics. This year India will have two flag bearers at the Tokyo Olympics. This decision has been taken by keeping in mind gender equality. So this makes it clear that one flag bearer is going to be a female athlete and the other one will be a male athlete.

IOA Chief Narinder Batra Says India Will Reveal The Names Of The Male And Female Flag Bearers Soon
Recently in a press conference, Narindra Batra stated that this time India will have two flag bearers in the upcoming Olympic Games. Also, he added that soon the Indian Olympic Association will announce the names. According to sports critics, this decision has not been finalized yet as the deciding stage is going on.
During the Rio de Janeiro Games in the year 2016, Abhinav Bindra was the flag bearer. All sports fanatics are curious to know the names of flag bearers from India this time. It would be a matter of great pride for the entire nation to see both a male and female athletes carry the country’s flag.
