BCCI has officially released the Indian Team Jersey just days before the ICC T20 World Cup is scheduled to kick off. Indian team is set to take a new look going into the World Cup and will aim to possibly clinch the title in the new kit.

The jersey was launched with stars like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah were seen sporting the new kit. The new jersey is will replace the 90’s like retro jersey which the team had donned for little over a year now.


The design of the jersey as noted by BCCI, is inspired by the fans and they have tried to memorialize the fans on the jersey. The pattern has also been inspired by the billion cheers of the fans. The design will also provide the team support and will remind them of the 12th man in the team. That is, the supporters. The kit is a ready to wear polyester jersey designed for sheer comfort and breathability.

Just like the previous 90’s inspired Indian Team jersey, this “Billion Cheers” jersey will also be available on mplsports.in. The official team sponsors MPL are making the jersey and will also be in charge of the jersey’s market distribution.


The jersey is set to be made available in multiple variants like player version, fan version, collarless and etc. The price will vary depending upon the jersey you’re choosing. As of now four variants have been made available and the prices of those are also released. Check out:

Further variants will also be released as the T20 World Cup nears it commencement this week. India will kick of their T20 World Cup against their arch rivals Pakistan on 24th October.
