The much-awaited Legends League Cricket Season 2 will take place next month. But before that, a special charity match will take place ahead of the tournament featuring the India Maharajas Legends vs Rest of the World Giants 11, know the date and schedule
The exciting encounter which was previously scheduled for August 22 will now take place on September 16, 2022 following a postponement.

The special exhibition match is meant to celebrate India’s 75th Independence Day. The match was previously scheduled for August 22. However, it was postponed due to other international cricket match fixtures.
The Return Of Cricketing Legends
Both of the teams have announced their own respective squads for the historic match featuring the Indian Legends vs Rest of The World. The two teams consist of many former legendary players.
Former India skipper and current BCCI president Sourav Ganguly will lead the Indian Legends. Popular Veteran players like Virendra Sehwag, Mohammed Kaif, Yusuf Pathan, and Irfan Pathan will feature in the squad besides others.
Whereas, former England captain Eoin Morgan will lead the Rest of the World team. Former players from differnet nations like Jacques Kallis, Sanath Jayasuriya, Jonty Rodes, Brett Lee, and Muttiah Muralitharan are part of the squad.
Once the special charity match concludes, the Legends League Cricket 2 Tournament will kick-start the next day on September 17.
The Legends League Cricket Season 2 will feature a total of 15 matches over a period of 22 days. There will be a total of 4 participating teams in the tournament.
Indian Legends vs Rest of The World Schedule
The Indian Legends vs Rest of the World match will take place on September 16, 2022 (Friday). The match will follow a T20 format and begin at around 7 PM IST. As of now, the full schedule for Legends League Cricket Season 2 hasn’t been announced yet.

The historic match will take place at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata.

Sony Sports Network is the official broadcaster of Legends League Cricket Season 2. As such, it will also telecast the India Legends vs the Rest of the World charity match.
The Sony Liv app and website will provide with an online live streaming of the match. Interested viewers will however, need a subscription to watch the match live.
