Pictures have emerged of the jail Benjamin Mendy is housed in Liverpool after he was denied bail for a third time
Benjamin Mendy is a stubborn boy.
Despite being holed up in the HMP Altcourse jail in Liverpool on three counts of rape and one of sexual assault, Mendy decided he wanted to file in a fresh bail appeal. After having two previous pleas quashed, Mendy suffered the same in his third attempt with a 50 minute hearing at the Cheshire Court seeing his third bail plea also clobbered.

In the aftermath of his bail being rejected, inside images have surfaced of Mendy’s jail. The venue makes for a neat viewing with the VIP cells inside the prison touted to be one of the most luxurious in the UK.
Mendy had previously gone in a rage after realising he wasn’t being housed in the VIP wing of the jail but the VP part instead. Mendy who had believed he would be placed in the VIP section was looking forward to reveling in the amenities on offer after allegedly raping three girls in 2020 and assaulting one in 2021.
Prisoners in the VIP wing of the prison can spend up to 250 pounds per week with the wing having facilities that included CDs, DVDs, electronic appliances, clothes, phone credits and groceries.
Yves Bissouma became the latest Premier League player to be accused of sexual assault wtih him joining Benjamin Mendy and Gylfi Sigurdsson. The Brighton player was arrested outside of a bar in Brighton before eventually going onto get bail.
Both Sigurdsson and Mendy have been shunted out of FIFA 22 with police investigations ongoing in the players respective sexual misconduct cases.
