Klay Thompson was far from pleased at not making it into the list of the NBA 75th Anniversary team greatest players
With this being the 75th season of the marquee NBA, the league decided to release a list of the all time 75 greatest players to have made their presence felt in the league. And while the most notable names found their place in the illustrious list, a slew of players were left irked after failing to find themselves ingrained in the pile.
Klay Thompson Dismayed At Being Left Out Of The NBA 75th Anniversary Team
One of the finest shooters to have ever stepped out onto the court, Klay Thompson was one of those names who missed out on making the cut. And he was far from happy with the decision with the Gold State Warriors player taking to Instagram to make his displeasure well known.
“Maybe I’m just naive in my ability to play basketball, but in my head I’m top 75 all time,” Klay said.

A major reason for Thompson being left out could be down to the lengthy and persistent injuries he’s endured over the time. The player has seen his career riddled with scores of injury issues with his currently on the injury bed as well.
The player who is yet to partake in the 2021 season of the showpiece league will be itching to return to the court and prove himself once again. Thompson’s Splash Brother. Steph Curry meanwhile ended up making his way into the list with him only recently showing why he’s considered such a stalwart of the game.
Thompson and Curry have over the years moved in unison to manifest a flurry of game winning displays for their side.
