Graeme Souness believes Manchester United could have done without bringing Jadon Sancho on board this season
Finally bringing their saga to Jadon Sancho to an end as they finally acquired the player’s services from Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United had their hands on a player they had pursued for way too long. Where they had failed in their previous bids, the club finally managed to meet the German club’s valuation of the Englishman.
However, Jadon Sancho is yet to feature in Manchester United’s playing 11 in the Premier League this season. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke about how while Sancho was doing extremely well in training, he was still some time away from making his place into the side from the beginning.
Graeme Souness Questions Jadon Sancho Signing Ahead Of Southampton vs Manchester United
Where the club’s supporters are rejoicing in their new transfer, Graeme Souness believes it to be an unnecessary transfer. Speaking ahead of the club’s outing with Southampton, Souness said he believed Manchester United had more than enough talent in attack, one which could have done a fine job without breaking the bank for Sancho.
🗣"I'm not sure if they really needed him."

Souness’ recent comments have done little than to once again draw the furor of the club’s supporters. He had previously this season sparred with Micah Richards regarding Paul Pogba along with saying he was least impressed with Pogba’s four assists against Leeds United.
Souness has harbored an innate hate against Pogba, one while its been rightly directed owing to the player’s shenanigans at times, has gone overboard on manifold occasions.
Manchester United meanwhile find themselves chasing a 1-0 deficit against Southampton as Che Adams scored for the hosts through a well taken strike on Sunday afternoon.
