Laden to the brim with a worldclass skill set, Bobby Lashley was once considered to be on the verge of making it to the Olympics. However, his dream was shattered ensuing him being caught in the middle of a bank robbery, one during which he went onto receive a gunshot in his leg.
Bobby Lashley Dwells Into The End Of His Olympics Career
Talking about how the injury had taken two surgeries to correct, Lashley spoke at length at what had unraveled ensuing the incident. He talked about how he his Bursa sac was removed as the fluid in the knee tore his meniscus off soon after he had partaken in the World Team Trials and move up a weight class.
“My knee was like as big as like a huge softball at the end. I went and had surgery. I had another surgery because there was like an infection there. And that basically ended my whole, well not ended by amateur wrestling career but I would not have been able to go to the Olympic trials,” Lashley said.
