Prediction
Iga Swiatek and Ons Jabeur have made it to the final of the Italian Open 2022. What an interesting fixture as both the players are on their peak level performance so far. The Polish professional is 34-3 this season while Tunisian is 25-7.
Iga had withdrawn from her previous WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid, Spain to have some great and Jabeur took this opportunity to make it her first WTA 1000 trophy.
Although the African No. 1 has experience over Iga and she has beaten her twice in their three previous meetings, Swiatek is a heavy favourite over any player this season. The 20-year-old Swiatek and 27-year-old Jabeur have not met yet on clay and World No. 1 Swiatek hasn’t lost a single match on clay this season and is on her 27th match winning streak.
The No. 1 ranked player in WTA has already won four WTA titles in a row heading towards her fifth in Rome, Italy. Her fire performance has become a threat to every opponent. It won’t be easy this time for the Madrid Open champion to get over Poland’s star.
