Rybakina defeated 76th-ranked Karolina Muchova of the Czech Republic 7-6 (7/4), 2-6, 6-4. Rybakina stunned Swiatek in the fourth round of the Australian Open before losing to Aryna Sabalenka in the year’s first Grand Slam final.
