IEM Rio Major: Streams in 2022

It is anticipated that the IEM Rio Major 2022 would take place from October 31 to November 13, 2022. It will be divided into the Challengers, Legends, and Champions stages. This format resembles that of previous Majors.

The Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournaments in Europe, the Americas, and Asia will qualify 24 teams for the IEM Rio Major 2022.

The eight top teams from the qualifying competitions (seven from Europe and one to the Americas) advanced directly into the Top 16 of the Legends Stage. The Challengers Stage, which will feature two teams from the Asia-Pacific, will require the remaining 16 to compete.

There will be $1.25 million just online for the IEM Rio Major. It’s a $250,000 boost over the past two CS: GO Majors, however, it’s crucial to note that the RMRs are no longer eligible for prize money as a result of this move.
