ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 Final is to be Played at the Oval, know more about the showpiece event, the WTC final 2023 date, venue and tickets
The Kennington Oval has been selected as the final venue by ICC. The WTC 2023 Final is scheduled to be played in June 2023 but the exact dates are yet to be confirmed.

The final of the previous edition’s World Test Championship was played in Southampton in the Ageas Bowl. New Zealand defeated India by 8 wickets in that match and became the first-ever winner of WTC.

ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice confirmed Oval as the venue for Finals
In a press conference, the Chief Executive of ICC was absolutely delighted with the fact that Oval is hosting the showpiece event this time. He said “We are delighted to be hosting next year’s ICC World Test Championship Final at the Oval which has such a rich legacy and an amazing atmosphere, which is ideal for such an important fixture on the calendar.
He also added, “Last year’s final between New Zealand and India in Southampton was an engrossing encounter and I am sure fans the world over would be looking forward to the next WTC final at The Oval.”

Steve Elworthy the CEO of Surrey County Club said”It’s a real honor that The Oval has been selected to host the final of the World Test Championship. To have the two best teams in the world playing here in south London will be a fantastic occasion.
Australia, India, and South Africa are all in the hunt for the WTC 2023 final
India and Australia are the most likely to square off in the WTC final at the oval in June. Both India and Australia are having the best average of points. The two teams are yet to play a much-awaited series in India a few, months before the WTC final.
South Africa is currently looking out for the race as they are not having a good in Australia currently. If they lose all three games of the series they’ll be knocked out of the race virtually.
