Defending champions Australia will head into the competition, beginning their campaign against New Zealand in Indore on October 1.
The upcoming Women’s Cricket World Cup will follow a round-robin format, with each team facing the others once before the top four teams head into the semifinals.
Hosts India will get the tournament underway against Sri Lanka in Bengaluru at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on 30 September with action starting at 15h00 local time.
ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 dates and venues
This year’s tournament will start with the group stage from September 30 to October 26. The matches will take place across key cricketing venues in cities like Bengaluru, Indore, Colombo, Vizag, and Guwahati. Following the groups stages, the semifinals will take place on October 29 and 30, while the grand final will take place on November 2 at either Colombo or Bengaluru.
The top four sides from the round-robin stage will progress to the semi-finals, with first place playing fourth and second taking on third for a spot in the final
The tickets are yet to go on sale but details about their release date, price and booking will soon be available on the official ICC site.
