Alyssa Healy was named the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 Player of the Tournament and Player of the Match after her record-breaking innings of 170 runs off only 138 deliveries. Healy surpassed Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Adam Gilchrist’s world record of 149 against Sri Lanka in 2007 to set a new world record for the highest-ever individual score in a World Cup final by a man or woman.

Karen Rolten, a former Australian cricketer, had previously set the record for the greatest individual score by a woman in a World Cup final (107 not out against India in 2005).
