The International Cricket Council (ICC), announced the team of the tournament for the T20 World Cup 2022, check out which three Indian players also made it into the team

The ICC World Cup concluded on Sunday with the England Men’s cricket team emerging victorious against Pakistan.

Besides the three Indian players, the team of the tournament also features three players from the winning England squad.

Three Indian Players In Team Of The Tournament

Much to the delight of Indian cricket fans, three players from the Indian squad made their way into the playing 11.

The three Indian players are Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, and Arshdeep Singh. The three players were undoubtedly three of the best players at the T20 World Cup 2022 for India. The trio played a big role in helping their team win on several occasion and make it to the semi-finals.

Indian ace Virat Kohli was the most impressive after finishing as the highest run-scorer in the tournament. He managed to make an impressive 296 runs out of six matches at an average of 98.66. Kohli registered a 136.40 strike rate and also hit four half-centuries.

Suryakumar Yadav, on the other hand, finished as the tournament’s third-highest run-scorer with 239 runs in six matches. He registered an average of 59.75 runs with 189.68 strike rate, including three fifties.

Arshdeep Singh, who made his debut T20 World Cup this time, picked up 10 wickets from six matches. He had an average of 15.60 and an economy rate of 7.80.
