The tournament is scheduled to begin on October 5 and will continue on until November 19.

The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is all set to host both the opening and final matches of the World Cup.
ICC World Cup 2023
This year’s ICC World Cup will host a few warm-up matches where the participating teams will face against each other. The 2023 World Cup will feature a round-robin format, where all the participants will play against each other. The BCCI has chosen about 10 venues for the World Cup, along with two additional venues for the warm-up matches.

The upcoming warm-up matches prior to the start of the tournament will begin from September 29 and will continue up until October 3.
Warm-up matches venue
The upcoming warm-up matches ahead of the World Cup will take place in Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Trivandrum. Given below are the stadium names and their locations:

Hyderabad are also set to host three matches in the main tournament, while two of them will take place in Pakistan during the group stage.
India warm-up matches schedule
During the ICC World Cup 2023 warm-up matches, India will take on England and one of the qualifiers teams. Currently, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Scotland, Oman, and the Netherlands are the six teams competing to fill the remaining two berths of the World Cup. These countries are all currently playing in the ICC World Cup 2023 Qualifiers.
