The International Cricket Council (ICC) has finally unveiled the much-anticipated schedule for the Champions Trophy 2025. Set to be hosted in a hybrid model across Pakistan and Dubai, the elite tournament will commence on February 19 with an opening match between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi.

As per the schedule, the grand finale is slated for March 9. India will kick off its campaign against Bangladesh on February 20 in Dubai, where all of India’s matches are scheduled to take place. A highly anticipated clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is scheduled for February 23 in Dubai. Notably, the eight competing teams are divided into two groups: Group A features Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, while Group B includes South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan, and England.
The upcoming edition of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy cricket tournament will be an eight-team affair in the ODI format, encompassing 15 matches and the teams will be divided into two groups and after round-robin matches, the top two from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
The tournament will span 15 matches, with Pakistan hosting games at three venues—Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi. Each venue will stage three group matches, with Lahore also hosting the 2nd semi-final. If India qualifies for the final, it will be held in Dubai; otherwise, Lahore will host the finale. Both semi-finals and the final will have reserve days to ensure uninterrupted play. Notably, India’s three group-stage matches and the 1st semi-final will all take place in Dubai.
All the matches will begin at 2:00pm Pakistan or 2:30pm IST.
