Know how to vote for the 2024 ICC Awards as the nominations list is revealed

The International Cricket Council highlighted the up-and-coming players in men’s and women’s cricket by revealing the full list nominees for the ICC Awards 2024.

According to the ICC, the nominees for the Emerging Men’s and Women’s Cricketer of the Year awards have demonstrated their abilities in a year full of international competition and made a big impression during the last year. The Emerging shortlists in ICC Awards 2024 which cover eight countries and are full of top players from all game types, showcase a wealth of outstanding young talent flourishing on the global scene.

Four deserving candidates compete for the ICC Emerging Men’s Cricketer of the Year award in a very competitive field at the ICC Awards 2024. West Indies pacer Shamar Joseph, record-breaking Sri Lankan batsman Kamindu Mendis, and Pakistan’s multi-format run-scorer Saim Ayub are also on the shortlist, along with England’s Gus Atkinson, who had an unforgettable start to his Test career.

In another event, four top short-format players compete for the ICC Emerging Women’s Cricketer of the Year title. The nominees, who all made a big impact on international competition in 2024, are South African all-rounder Annerie Dercksen, Scotland’s Saskia Horley, India’s Shreyanka Patil, and Ireland’s Freya Sargent.

You can cast your vote for your favorite players on ICC’s official site here. Voting is open till January 10, 2025 and the winners list will be revealed sometime early next year.
