The tweet comes in the aftermath of Kane playing his first match for Tottenham this term. It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I've had in the last few weeks. 👏⚽

The main reason behind Kane deciding to stay put at Tottenham is being touted as Daniel Levy’s complete refusal to sell the striker. While Kane was extremely interested in wanting to switch to greener pastures, Levy refused to negotiate with City with the Tottenham bigwig recently spurning a 150 million euro offer from the Premier League champions.
Kane had previously gone onto bicker with Levy with reports filtering in of him lashing out at Levy for not honoring a gentleman’s promise made during 2019. As per the agreement between the two, Levy had promised Kane to let him leave the club if the side failed to win a trophy during the next two years.
New manager Nuno Espirito Santo had previously talked about Kane’s worldclass skill set and how he was looking forward to working with the striker.
