Details continue to emerge about the alleged affair between a school vice-principal and a student’s parent. An anonymous source claiming to be the vice-principal’s wife revealed that the affair had been ongoing for a year and a half. The wife shared that her suspicions had been building for months before discovering the truth on 16 October.

Photos and messages between her husband and the parent were included in the anonymous tip, with screenshots revealing conversations about their meetings and interactions. On 17 Oct, the wife took to Facebook, posting several photos of her husband, the vice-principal of a local primary school, in intimate poses with the parent, who allegedly has two children at the school. While the posts have since been deleted, they stirred significant online attention.
The vice-principal’s wife claimed the affair had lasted for a year and a half, though her suspicions only began a few months ago, when her husband started acting differently, particularly regarding financial matters. He frequently claimed to have no money while buying gifts for others.
The email tip included chat records and intimate photos of the vice-principal and the parent, as well as a screenshot of an Instagram post showing the couple embracing. The chat logs further revealed four “agreements” made between the two, which included staying in daily contact, sending scheduled texts, and informing each other about their activities. To maintain secrecy, the vice-principal reportedly saved the parent’s contact under a male alias.

While the wife knew her husband’s affair was with a parent, she admitted she didn’t personally know the individual. She also disclosed that she and her husband had been married for over 30 years. According to the vice-principal’s now-deleted LinkedIn profile, he had served in the role for over nine years, starting in August 2015. Before that, he worked as an officer in the Singapore Armed Forces.
Upon hearing about the affair, parents at the school expressed shock and disappointment. One parent, described the vice-principal as approachable and friendly, often seen interacting with parents. The school has yet to release an official statement, but the vice-principal’s name has been removed from the school’s website.
The Ministry of Education (MOE) acknowledged the incident, confirming that the vice-principal had resigned and that an investigation is underway. He is currently on leave.
