What Did Munaf Patel Tell Mohammad Hafeez In The 2011 World Cup Semis?

Replying to Munaf Patel’s recent tweet, a fan reminded him that the latter had asked the Indian pacer about Mohammad Hafeez’s dismissal, but that Patel had not exactly revealed what he had said to Hafeez after the dismissal. In response to this, the Gujarat cricketer said that he had thanked Hafeez for giving him a wicket.

Mohammad Hafeez had scored 43 runs in 59 balls before he needlessly threw away his wicket. He did so while attempting a strange shot. He was walking across the stumps as the ball took the outside edge of his bat and Dhoni made no mistake doing the needful from behind the stumps.
