The fifth episode of R U Next, a collaborative girl group survival program created by HYBE LABELS and BeLift Lab, premiered on July 28, 2023, and saw the elimination of three contestants along with the global ranking list revealed after the vote

The third round, “All Rounder,” featured two assignments for the contestants to complete. They broke out into smaller groups to sing songs like “Money” by LISA and “My Bag” by (G)I-DLE. While the performances did not conclude until the fifth show, they did organically snowball into an elimination round.

Both Heel Choreo and Hiphop were tasks in R U Next?’s third round, All Rounder. The first assignment had three performances: “4 Walls” by f(x), “Dream of You” by Chungha, and “The Boys” by Girls Generation. However, (G)I-DLE’s “My Bag,” CL’s “Tie A Cherry,” and LISA’s “Money” were all covered for the second objective.

The Three Eliminations

Nine girls were ranked last after all the performances were over, putting them in danger of being eliminated. The R U Next? contestants who were voted off were:

  • Haesul – (G)I-DLE’sย My Bagย Team

Also in peril were contenders Seoyeon, Chanelle, Minju, Moka, Moa, and Ruka, for a total of six.

The Global Voting in R U Next?

After the show’s second elimination was completed, the first worldwide vote results were revealed. Voting for the first time around the world began on June 23, 2023, and ended on July 5, 2023. The audience might vote for up to six finalists per day. After tallying the votes, Iroha came out on top with the highest total.

There will be two categories of battles in this round: singing and dancing. The vocal teams will perform “Across the Universe” by Baek Yerin and “Spark” by Taeyon, while the dance teams will perform “Bang!” by After School and “Tell Me” by Wonder Girls.
