Hunter Palmer who was a Nebraska high school athlete and student unfortunately passed away but a cause of death isn’t known
Hunter Palmer passed after suddenly falling down during his track practice. Palmer, who was young 18 years old, attended Wisner-Pilger High School. On Friday, Palmer fell and passed at a nearby hospital.

Hunter Palmer’s 4×400-meter relay team took second place, and the senior won the high jump competition, setting a new PR of 1.85 meters (6 feet, 1 inch) but however, the very next day at track practice, Palmer collapsed and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died later that night.
He died Friday at a hospital in West Point, according to his obituary but a cause of death hasn’t been revealed. He was going to play football at Midland University.

Hunter Palmer not only excelled in football but also basketball and was an all-district running back, as reported by Monday Omaha World-Herald. Palmer was also signed to a football contract with Midland University.
The head coach at Midland University, Jeff Jamrog, has expressed his sadness over the student’s passing. “Heaven has gained such an amazing young man, he has left us behind,” Jamrog tweeted on his account. “Our hearts are full of freight after we have heard this sad news and we are suffering with the pain of the big loss of Hunter Palmer.”
He further added that their thoughts and prayers go out to Palmer’s family, close friends, and to the Wisner-Pilger community.
“Our staff really enjoyed recruiting Hunter. Palmer was a dynamic young man who was an absolute pleasure to be around. Hunter was so so special and he will be forever in our hearts. Hunter left us too soon. May Hunter rest in peace, we already miss you, boy.”
Hunter Palmer competed in a meeting prior to his demise and he won the high jump by clearing his personal best record. He also participated in a relay race, where his team stood in second place. The senior in high school loved baseball, golf, and wrestling, as per his obituary.
“He liked hanging out with his friends, watching Netflix, driving, lifting weights, singing, and drinking Dr. Pepper. Palmer’s most favorite teams were Green Bay Packers and Clemson Tigers,” The obituary revealed.
On Monday, the Wisner-Pilger High School was still in the dark regarding Palmer’s cause of death and they are really devastated after his sudden demise. The county attorney was contacted by local authorities but chose not to respond to this matter.
